Security & Privacy

Your documents are private,
your workspace is yours

DueCounsel is designed for confidential Philippine legal documents. We encrypt everything, never train on your data, and give you full control over your workspace.

Security principles

Built for sensitive legal workflows

Private-by-default document handling, encrypted storage, and controlled access to uploaded files and workspace data.

Encrypted upload and storage

Documents are encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Your files are never accessible outside your workspace.

Private by default

Your documents and workspace data are private to your firm. Nothing is shared or visible to other firms or users.

Role-based access controls

Control who in your team can upload documents, view matters, and export data — with per-user access roles.

Audit logging

Every upload, edit, export, and deletion is logged so you have a complete record of all activity.

Isolated matter workspaces

Each matter is isolated. Documents and data from one matter are never mixed with another.

Lawyer-controlled workflow

All actions require your confirmation. No export or billing is final without your approval.

What DueCounsel does not do

Does not use your documents to train AI models

Does not provide legal advice or interpretation

Does not share your data with other firms or users

Does not retain deleted documents in any form

Does not allow staff access without your explicit consent

Does not export data without your confirmation
