You can now connect DueCounsel to Google Calendar, as well as Microsoft Outlook. Hearings, deadlines, and other events will stay updated in both calendars, so you don’t have to enter them twice.
You can create a retainer agreement for each matter, set the monthly allocated hours, and track how much time has been used or remains. You can also choose whether unused hours carry forward to future months.
You can now manage client trust accounts in DueCounsel. Create accounts linked to matters or contacts, record deposits and withdrawals, and keep track of the current balance.
Upload a document and DueCounsel can generate a summary of the main points, parties, and relevant facts. This can help you review lengthy court decisions, contracts, and pleadings more quickly.
You can start and stop a timer directly from a task or calendar event. The recorded time will automatically appear in your billing and retainer records.
Once an invoice has been paid, you can email a professional receipt directly from DueCounsel. It includes your firm’s branding, invoice number, payment date, payment method, amount paid, and any remaining balance.
We’ve fixed issues that caused incorrect reconnection warnings for Google and Outlook calendars. Connections will now refresh automatically. If an account does need to be reconnected, you’ll see a clear message in your calendar settings.
